After a conversation about anything being possible in a two year time span, (and an agreement to put into practice) I’ve been trying to map out what time I have available and how I can claw back or make more in a day. If I wake at 5am and devote 5-7 for personal projects, and another hour (lunch break) at the office, I can apparently snatch 15 hours from my working week. I can’t even begin to see how to structure a weekend yet. So anything from there (when the kids are at home all day) is just a bonus.
Then you should see the list of things I want to do in the next two years. All in 15 hours plus weekends.
When I looked first of all, it felt like to little. But 15 hours a week… that’s not a bad chunk of time.
For writing… for photography… for my apps… for the investment learning… for fitness… for working out where next… moving… changing country…
‘Prioritise Watson!’ cried Sherlock.
Prioritise indeed. I had a mind that some of the things I wanted to do would be every day or weekly… The truth of the matter is that some things will just ave to wait for free weekends. Sacrifices simply must be made (until we can quit the day job).
There just aren’t enough hours. Still… two years… long way to go yet.
